The special thing about this natural cotton blanket is the 3D weaving technique: this makes the plain woven check look three-dimensional and at the same time gives Tenun a soft and light appearance.
With this blanket you create a cozy atmosphere both indoors and outdoors! Tenun also looks great as a bedspread or bedspread.
Hand wash cold only, do not bleach and do not dry in the sun.

Material: cotton
Our blankets are made from vegetable fibers. They smell and therefore feel wonderfully like nature.
We use cotton from local farmers in Java for our products. The cotton fields are fertilized naturally and the cotton balls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine. The resulting cotton is pressed into bales, combed and hand-spun into yarn. After the yarn has been spun in this way, it is processed by hand by the artisans on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is characterized by its absorbency and skin-friendliness. Our cotton has not been chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This blanket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we attach great importance to fair pay and good working conditions. Only mature and experienced craftsmen work in the companies where we buy our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all this through regular site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
