The Bhinneka basket is available in three different sizes and two different material combinations. The simpler, single-colored version of seagrass fits into any living environment with its natural appearance and knows no limits to your creativity.
Bhinneka is particularly suitable as a plant basket for houseplants or as a paper basket. You can also use it as a holder for pens, brushes or kitchen utensils.

Main material: seagrass
Our baskets are made from vegetable fibers. They smell and therefore feel wonderfully like nature.
What is commonly called 'seagrass' by basket makers is actually not an (under)water plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is common on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often grown by people, are separated, cut into strips, dried and then processed by hand.

This basket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we attach great importance to fair pay and good working conditions. Only mature and experienced craftsmen work in the companies where we buy our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions.
